care guide
Taking care of your bag begins with how you store it. Avoid leaving it in spots where it might gather dirt or get squished. Remember, each nuh neh bag comes tucked into its own dust bag—keep it cozy in there when it's not out and about.
Cleaning your bags ensures they maintain their beauty and durability over time. Follow these steps to keep your bag in great condition.
I find the best way to clean my bags is to Spot Clean:
- Mix and Dip: Grab some cold water and mix in a bit of mild detergent in a bowl.
- Get Scrubbing: Take a soft cloth or sponge, dip it in the soapy mix, and gently rub the dirty spots on your bag.
- Rinse and Dab: Rinse the cloth, soak it in clean water, and dab away any leftover soap from your bag.
Though spot cleaning is the safest way, you can also Machine Wash, but be careful!
- Choose the Right Detergent: Choose a mild detergent, like the ones for baby clothes – no harsh stuff!
- Water Temperature: Use cold water.
- Delicate Cycle: Wash your bag on a delicate cycle, and if possible, place it inside a mesh laundry bag for added protection.
- Wash Separately: To avoid colour bleeding, always wash your bag separately from other laundry items.
- Gentle Drying Process: After washing, refrain from tumble drying or wringing out the bag. Instead, gently remove the excess water by wrapping it in a towel and pressing gently. Lay it flat to air dry naturally; avoid using heat, hanging on wires, or direct sunlight to prevent your bag from fading and losing its shape.
Patience is key! You may need to leave it to dry for up to 24 hours.
Easy peasy! Follow these steps, and your bag will remain in top-notch condition.
